When a Death Occurs

Our first priority is giving you peace of mind and comfort, to know that when we are notified of the passing of your loved one, they will be brought into our care respectfully and securely. Your loved one will be placed in a required alternative container in a climate-controlled refrigeration / crematory facility until we receive all approvals from the medical physicians, the county, and the state. If the passing occurred at the Hospital, Hospice Care, Nursing Home, or Assisted Living Facility, the family member or legal personal representative would contact the medical staff and also notify our office.  If the passing occurs at the residence and not under medical care, call 911.  Law Enforcement, the emergency response team, and the medical examiner will determine what further process is necessary, and the family or the legal personal representative will be advised.  We are available 24 / 7 to provide guidance or to answer any questions you may have now or in the future.

Cremation Arrangements Demographic Information

Cremation Arrangements are available at our office, on the phone, or virtually. At the time of the arrangements, demographic information is required to obtain and complete various legal documents. The documents will be given to the attending physician, the medical examiner, the county and the state. Our professional staff will discuss information pertaining to social security death benefits, veteran burial allowance, placement of cremated remains of your loved one at a national or private cemetery, burial at sea or return to their home.  Certified Death Certificates will be obtained once completed and approved by physicians and the state. We offer a wide selection of cremation urns, keepsakes, jewelry, art glass, thumbprint pendants and funeral merchandise.

Cremation Process

The process from the time of cremation arrangements to the cremation process and obtaining certified death certificates is 7 to 10 business days.  Under certain circumstances, if the process goes beyond that time, the family or legal personal representative will be notified.
